A plate joining jig inspired by traditional Spanish guitar building techniques. This versatile tool is designed to accommodate both small and large soundboards, and can even be used to join headstock plates for decorative headplates, just like a book-matched top and back.
 
The joiner's clever design eliminates the need for special clamps or hardware, and its unique glue-up process prevents thin stock from buckling under pressure. Additional, the cross bars can be adjusted easily to accommodate different length soundboards or plates. You can use the same jig to join guitar tops and even ukulele tops, which makes this joiner incredibly versatile. 
 
Made from cabinet grade plywood with a center MDF piece featuring a non-glue-able surface, this jig is built to last and to make your tasks easier.
 
The package includes the plate joining jig, three wedges, , and three pieces of low-stretch polypropylene rope (not pictured). The jig's compact design takes up minimal space, making it easy to store and transport.
