This model is based on an L00 Model.
 
It is made from 3 layers of MDF, and uses a hinge system that is both strong and easy to open or close during your acoustic guitar build
 
The pins are made from 3/4" PVC pipe, and use paracord as a handle to pull out when necessary. The paracord also allows the builder to avoid damaging the sanding disc when radiusing the top and back compared to the metal trailer pins we used to use earlier. They are both strong, functional, and much more comforatable in the hand. 
 
Use the large spreaders to secure the bent sides into the building mold until you have the kerfing glued in. Once the kerfing or lining is glued in, you can use smaller spreaders for the waist so that they can alter be removed after closing the box.
